MTB Junior League Update #2

Greetings!
We are PSYCHED to announce that our first Group Ride of the summer is Monday June 8 from 5-7pm.
To learn the location please visit the MTB Junior League page of our website. Why? Well…there’s a lot of good info in there PLUS there’s a new “GROUP RIDE MUST READ” section that you need to know. And if I just tell you where the ride is then you may show up uninformed.
I will share this however:

  • Group Rides are FREE. You do not need to be enrolled in MTB Junior League to attend (but we’d sure like it if you did sign up!) Register here
  • Due to present gathering size restrictions, group rides are limited to 25 total riders. Actual riding groups will be between 5-10 riders.
  • To be placed in a group, YOU MUST SIGN UP for the Group Ride on THIS FORM! This applies to everyone…even those signed up for the League.
  • When we have 25 people the group ride is full and we cannot take anymore.(If that happens we will consider hosting another group ride on a different night next week. But let’s hold off on that to see if this first one fills or not)
  • If your name is not on the list, and you show up anyway, you’ll be politely asked to ride separately.
Some of you may be asking…”why would I sign up for Junior League?”
The short answer is because you’ll get a MTB jersey! And those jerseys are plastered with logos from some outstanding local businesses (see list below) that support the league and help keep it extremely affordable for you. And this year’s jerseys are cool!.
The other reasons are because you’ll get automatically entered into the first 6 races of the Summit Mt. Challenge series and you’ll get a permanent number plate for the summer.
I know what you’re thinking…”is the series going to happen this summer”? I can’t answer that today as we are waiting for more announcements. But if I had to answer I’d say “yes”. We just don’t know when.
